Why learn the cacao ceremony with us?

World of Cacao is an international academy for cacao ceremony facilitators. Whether you want to deepen your own practice or guide others professionally: every training follows the four parts of a real ceremony.

Intention

Every ceremony starts with a clear intention. You learn to set it for yourself and for a whole group.

Preparation

Where ceremonial cacao comes from, how to choose it, dose it and prepare it with care.

The circle

Holding space for a group: meditation, breath, sound and sharing, in person and online.

Integration

What happens after the ceremony: closing the circle, caring for people and growing as a facilitator.

Cacao Ceremony

A cup, an intention, and a circle of people.

Cacao has been part of ceremony in Mesoamerica for thousands of years. Today a cacao ceremony brings people together around a warm cup of ceremonial cacao: an intention is set, the cacao is shared, and the facilitator guides the group through meditation, breath, music and sharing.

A good ceremony doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from preparation, a safe space and someone who knows how to hold it. That is what we teach.

Our community

Carried by a circle, not by one person.

World of Cacao began in 2023 with a small team and one wish: to teach the cacao ceremony properly, online and open to everyone who feels called.

Today the training is carried by our community of experienced facilitators and graduates. They teach, answer questions and welcome every new student.
